Moveall moves furniture across the 28 suburbs on its Adelaide service list. They are grouped below the way Moveall groups them: Adelaide City, the northern, eastern, southern and western suburbs and the beaches, and the Adelaide Hills. Each region has its own kind of housing and its own access questions, and those are what shape a furniture move far more than the distance.

Greater Adelaide had an estimated 1,491,015 residents at 30 June 2025 (ABS), spread from the plains to the foothills and the coast. Furniture Removalists Adelaide is a service of Moveall Australia Pty Ltd, whose office is in Wayville, just south of the city.
Adelaide City
Apartments, townhouses and terraces in the square mile and around the park lands. City moves start with the building: lift bookings, loading bays and the times a truck can stop. For moves in the city, we check parking and loading rules with the building and the council before moving day. Rundle Mall, for example, is closed to vehicles Monday to Thursday from 9am to 6pm, Friday from 9am to 9:15pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm (City of Adelaide).
Northern suburbs
Prospect, Walkerville, Mawson Lakes, Salisbury, Elizabeth, Paradise, Modbury, Golden Grove and Tea Tree Gully. The inner north, Prospect and Walkerville, is villa and bungalow country with wide verandahs and long hallways: read furniture removalists in Prospect and Walkerville. Further out, Mawson Lakes has townhouses and apartments with stairs and shared driveways, and the north-eastern suburbs of Modbury, Golden Grove and Tea Tree Gully have family homes on larger blocks, some on slopes.
Eastern suburbs
Norwood, Payneham, Magill, Campbelltown and Burnside. Norwood and Payneham have character homes on narrow streets where parking a truck takes planning: see furniture removalists in Norwood and Payneham. Burnside, Magill and Campbelltown run up towards the foothills, with sloping blocks, long driveways and some of Adelaide’s larger homes: see furniture removalists in Burnside, Magill and Campbelltown.
Southern suburbs
Unley, Goodwood, Mitcham, Blackwood and Marion. Unley and Goodwood are full of villas and bungalows close to the city. Mitcham sits at the foot of the hills face and Blackwood is up the hill beyond it, with steep streets and sloping blocks: see furniture removalists in Mitcham, Unley and Blackwood. Marion, to the south-west, is covered with the beachside suburbs below.
Western suburbs and beaches
Glenelg, Brighton, Plympton, Henley Beach, West Lakes, Semaphore and Port Adelaide, with Marion just inland. Along the coast, apartment buildings and beachfront streets bring lifts, loading bays and busy weekend parking. Inland, Plympton and Marion have post-war homes and units on flat blocks. See furniture removalists in Marion, Plympton and Brighton. Further north along the coast, Semaphore and Port Adelaide have old cottages and narrow streets, and West Lakes has homes and units around the lake.
Adelaide Hills
Mount Barker, up the South Eastern Freeway. A move to or from the Hills is longer on the road and often steeper at each end: sloping blocks, gravel driveways and cooler, wetter weather in the colder months. Tell us about the driveway and the path to the door when you ask for a quote, so the truck and crew are right for it.

Why access matters more than distance
Inside Adelaide, the time a furniture move takes depends far more on the homes at each end than on the kilometres between them. A move from a flat block in Marion with a driveway to a ground-floor unit in Plympton can be quicker than a move a few streets apart in Blackwood with steep driveways and steps at both ends. Lifts in the city and at the beaches, stairs in townhouses, narrow streets in the older suburbs and long carries in the Hills all add time. That is why Moveall’s customer care team asks about the access at both homes when you ask for a quote, and why your answers shape the truck, the crew and the plan.
Whichever suburb you are in, the furniture is treated the same way: wrapped in moving blankets in the room it stands in, carried rather than dragged, loaded so it cannot shift and placed in the room you choose at the new home.
Moving out of these suburbs
